The Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program (SECCAP) has implemented online attendance tracking in colleges across Sindh. This move by the College Education Department (CED) digitizes the student attendance system. According to Dr. Qasim Rajpar, Deputy Director of Colleges Sindh, an Android application utilizing a Sims QR code has been developed. This application aims to record daily student attendance and store the data within the college.

Dr. Rajpar stated that 343 institutions in Sindh have commenced online student attendance tracking. He emphasized that students with 75% attendance or higher will be eligible to appear for the annual examinations. This online attendance tracking system has been implemented in 343 colleges across Sindh.
How to Check Your Attendance Online
- Visit the SECCAP DGCS student attendance portal: https://seccap.dgcs.gos.pk/#/student-attendance
- Select your student level (XI/XII or Olevel).
- Enter your CNIC or B-Form number (e.g., 12345-1234567-1).
- Enter your Matric roll number.
- Click the button to view your attendance.
Students will be eligible to appear for the annual examinations if they maintain a 75% attendance rate. This online attendance tracking system has been successfully implemented and tested in various other educational institutions to improve attendance records. Previously, manual attendance records were maintained in Sindh, which were susceptible to errors.
