Punjab’s Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced a major initiative to provide electric scooters to teachers across the province. The purpose of this scheme is to offer teachers an affordable and eco-friendly mode of transportation, enabling them to perform their educational duties more effectively.
Government Subsidy & Installment Plan

The Punjab government will pay Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 as an advance subsidy.

The remaining amount will be paid in easy monthly installments.

The monthly installment will be approximately Rs. 4,000, which is far more economical than petrol costs due to lower electricity expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
To benefit from the electric scooter scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a teacher working in an educational institution under the Punjab government.

Can be a permanent or contract-based employee.

Must hold a Punjab domicile.

Preference will be given to candidates with a good service record and a valid driving license.

Fill out the online application form with personal details, employment information, and domicile.

Upload scanned copies of the required documents (CNIC, service certificate, driving license).

Submit the form and get it verified by the concerned District Education Office.
