The Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) is administered by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC). Previously conducted online by the PMC, this year, the MDCAT will be held by each Provincial Medical University on a single day using a paper-based format.

A total of 200,000 students applied for the MDCAT exam. 80,000 were from Punjab, 45,000 from Sindh, 40,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9,000 from Balochistan, 20,000 from Islamabad, 1,000 from Gilgit-Baltistan, 3,000 from Azad Kashmir, and approximately 500 were international students.

The MDCAT was conducted by the following universities for their respective regions: University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore for Punjab, Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) Karachi for Sindh, Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) Quetta for Balochistan, and Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) Islamabad for Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and international students.
Passing Marks:
