Guidelines and Instructions for Physical/Medical Test

Candidates must bring their Physical/Medical Test Slip and original computerized National Identity Card on the specified date and time only. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to participate in the test.

Candidates applying for more than one position must bring all their test slips and inform the relevant staff at the recruitment center about the positions they have applied for.

For the physical test, candidates must wear an appropriate PT kit (e.g., tracksuit, PT shoes/joggers). Physical and medical tests will be conducted for male and female candidates for uniform positions, while only medical tests will be conducted for civil positions. Candidates should be fit and suitable in all respects.

Minimum Physical Standards for Uniform Positions (ASI, Corporal, and Corporal Driver):
- Male Candidates: Height: 5′-6″, Chest: 32″-34″, Weight: As per the chart provided at the respective recruitment centers.
- Female Candidates: Height: 5′-2″, Weight: As per the chart provided at the respective recruitment centers.
Physical Test:

Male Candidates: 1 mile run (maximum time 7:30 minutes), 22 push-ups (2 minutes), 22 sit-ups (2 minutes).

Female Candidates: 1 mile run (maximum time 13:00 minutes).

Bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, tablets, or other electronic devices is prohibited. Candidates will be allowed entry after a thorough search.

If you are suffering from any illness or physical ailment, inform the relevant staff before the test. The department will not be responsible in case of any accident.

Pregnant women may face life-threatening risks during the physical test or training, so such women will be disqualified.

No TA/DA will be given for the Physical/Medical Test.

Candidates should maintain discipline and punctuality, avoid unnecessary crowds and inappropriate behavior. Wait for your turn in line. Registration may be canceled for violations.

Furthermore, some anti-social elements are misleading the public with fake recruitment advertisements/calls/messages/letters, etc. Therefore, protect yourself from all such fake news and information. The ASF is authorized to take legal action against individuals/websites/blogs that mislead the public.
